i too have anxiety attacks, have done for the past 5 years now, but i must admit, that when you really make an effort, and push yourself through the panic, it does ease. Keep on pushing.

And here’s another tip: I use humor. Yes. Laughter, jokes and so. When in panic, I start thinking about how ridiculous this is and start laughing (still scared though), or tell myself a joke. Sometimes the best pill is a scene, or blooper or joke you saw or heard on tv. It relaxes me a lot.

I had some heavy panic attacks in the past. I wouldn’t say I’m 100% cured now, but I constantly try facing my fears (simple and hard exercises), and that has given me a sense of freedom and control. When you feel weak, insecure or incapable, you let panic control your life. The worst thing is to avoid situations or places where you feel unsafe.

This is a good vid,I have had them for about 10 years.I did not have one all this year yet, I downloaded the panic away program off the net…NO im not trying to sell shit..This works..for me anyway..It says you have to hit it head on, Be happy when one starts and act like you told it to happen…I have what everyone has,I used to panic, call 911, feel like im going to die. You have to no what it is and why it is doing it…Its realy nothing..But you have to see it that way.

bad idea to smoke weed if you have panic attacks, i smoked it for 9 months every day until one day after 3 years of relative sanity i had a massive panic attack after smoking weed. but i guess it is a person by person basis type of thing, i certainly do not fault the weed, and believe it helps a lot of people. i have been panicking for 3 months now after that initial reaction to the green. it looks like you were not considering it anyway, but i figured i would tell my story lol.

yestarday i had a panic attack, it feels so bad, and i dnt know why me..

  • SteelCity1981:

@EvilBlakBunny I don’t know lol, but i’m sure you can get some if you ask the right kind of people :)

Doctors can perscribe it of you state allows doctors to do so for medical reasons and what you have would be considerd a legit medical reason to use it which is why I think all 50 states should allow doctors to prescribe it you those types of medical reasons. I heard it really does releave panic attacks though cause you go into a really mind altering relax state.

  • EvilBlakBunny:

SteelCity1981 – haha well were am i s’pose to get weed from? sorry bad idea lol

  • SteelCity1981:

What you said is 100% true i suffer from very bad panic/agoraphobia and i for one an tell you, you need someone to hold while going threw this. you just to reinusure you that everything is ok because i go into a zone of fear i cant even talk while its happening i feel like i’m jumping out of my skin. it’s the worst feeling and you need reinsurance not more fear.from a perspn who doesn’t understand!

  • EvilBlakBunny:

Panic attacks are fucking scary I had one a few months ago while I was driving. and it really does feel like something way more serious. Even though it’s all mental, it’s so damn hard to take your mind off it.

  • LilithFilth:

I passed out once during a PA & wasn’t hyperventilating.
My housemate didn’t know wtf was going on so called me an ambulance.

  • ljeane23:

I have several panic attacks a day, and recently I learned a few things that work for me…as the panic attacks are random and for no reason..if I’m in the car I use the same song to associate with calming me down each time…sort of hypnotizing myself…Xanax isn’t helping me anymore, but so far, this is helpful. I haven’t overcome it, but I’ve learned a few tricks while trying to :)

  • taildragger51:

Fighter pilots during the World War stopped themselves from passing out by
    twitching their toes .
Apparently it causes the adrenaline to balance out.

  • angelgirlfan:

i have panic and anxiety attacks and its scary

  • Ctrussoni:

you can only pass out if you hyperventilate during a panic attack.

  • enigmanuma:

If you have a panic attack you actually don’t want anyone else to know you are having it. But if you see someone having one, make sure they have a safe place to land if they pass out. Don’t talk to much because they may become combative and become more stressed. Just let the episode pass. If they have not seen a doctor encourage them to do so. Don’t forget that a panic attack has a lot of the same symptoms of a heart attack so good luck with your on the fly diagnosis.

  • Isaiasm2006:

Thanks you so much. I’ve been looking for a good website. My doctor does not want to prescribe me stronger anxiety medicine and won’t approve disability papers.

I have to live comfortable. I miss the world.

    God bless you
